2-9 April 2006

DAY 1
Upon arrival at Dubrovnik airport you will be met by our friendly staff and transferred by coach to the Hotel Asterea. After you have checked in and made yourselves comfortable there will be an information meeting followed by an orientation walk around the pretty little village of Mlini where you will get a chance to meet your fellow travellers
Dinner is served in the hotel from 19:00-21:00 and will be followed by talk on the history of Dubrovnik and the surrounding areas

DAY 2
Breakfast is available from 07:00-09:00 and this will be followed by a mornings photography with your group leader. At 13:00 we will meet in reception and make our way down to the harbour for a boat excursion to the old city of Dubrovnik where there will be plenty of time for photographs as well as sightseeing. At 17:30 we will return again by boat to Mlini.
The evening is yours to spend as you wish

DAY 3
We will meet in the hotel reception after breakfast for departure by coach to Konavle Valley. We will be going to an old mill where we will be greeted by the miller with a local traditional drink.  He will then give us a demonstration of how he grinds his corn to make flour.  This is water powered by a fast running stream.
There will then be time to stroll through the woods to look at a waterwheel at the famous Konovaski Dvori restaurant which Tito used to visit, or to do some photographs of the fast flowing river and trout ponds. We will then proceed to the beautiful town of Cavtat for an afternoon of photography. A table has been booked for us at the Kolona Restaurant although lunch is not included in the price. At around 17:30 we will be returning back to the hotel.

DAY 4
After breakfast we will meet in the hotel reception to pick up the coach for a full day’s photography in Dubrovnik returning to the hotel at around 17:30

DAY 5
Today you will meet up with your group leader for a full day's photography and tuition. After dinner in the evening we will meet up in reception to get the coach for a concert by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra. We will be returning to the hotel at approximately 23:00

DAY 6
After breakfast we will meet in the hotel reception to pick up the coach to Blace, a fishing village off the tourist route. Travelling North and passing through Bosnia & Hercegovina (passports essential) through the Neretva valley and the tangerine groves to the home of artist Rade Ovuka where we will enjoy his hospitality and meet some more members of the Croatian Art Society. We will be returning to the hotel at around 16:00

DAY 7
Today will be spent taking photographs with your group leader in Mlini. At around 16:00 there will be a fauna and flora walk and talk if you wish to partake. We will be departing at around 19:00 for the Party Night
